Advance Web Authoring Workshop in Quetta

Workshop on advance web-authoring was successfully conducted in Quetta with participation of eleven (11) participants from seven (7) different development sector organizations.

Day one:

An introduction to web publishing tools, some key terminology, introduction to Adobe Photoshop 6.0, its features and specialties, creating layers, image effects were delivered by Syed Adnan. Then Ms. Zarin explained to participants how to create and design buttons for their respective web sites.  At end of the day 1, participants were given assignments by Syed Adnan.

Day second:

Adobe Photoshop continued, using images, logos and different tools of Adobe PS by Syed Adnan with continue practice of participants along with developing buttons/logos for their web sites. Introduction to Flash 4.0, Flash environment, idea about time line, frames and key  frames, moving objects, creating buttons, moving clips delivered by Syed Adnan. At end of the day participants were given assignments. Sessions of questions/answers proceeded after each session of the day.

Day third:

Flash 4.0 continued by masking layers, adding motion guide, embedding flash movies in a web page and frame by frame movements. Introduction to Macromedia Dreamweaver 3.0, object palette, property inspector, frame sets, frame window, image mapping, roll over effects, inserting images and embedding a flash movie in 'Dreanweaver'. Day ended up with the assignments given by the resource person.

Day Four:

Dreamweaver continued by the participants for designing sites and the discussion on the three web authoring tools (Adobe, Flash & Dreamweaver), they learnt in the past three days.

In the end there was a presentation of sites designed by the participants. Syed Adnan gave his remarks/suggestions about the sites presented and distributed certificates among all the participants.
