Access training workshop for SCPEB in Quetta

Training was conducted on January 20th, 2001 in Quetta for the staff of Society for Communication for Primary Education in Balochistan in SCPEB'S office and this training was arranged on their request. Altogether 22 participants were presents in this training; all were the office and field staff of SCSPEB.

The objective of this training was to endow with the modern and one of the useful skills of Internet to their whole team specially to their field workers who have to connect to their head office in Quetta from far flung areas (having internet access) while working in the field.

Mr. Jan Mohammad gave an introduction about Internet's emergency, its background, Structure, usefulness and the physical things required. Also the hand on surfing was done to clear the concept of usage of Internet. E-mail was also explained to them on line, with the help of one of the site s offers free e-mail services by Ms Zarin Syed. Managing Director, Mr. Irfan Ahmed thanked and appreciated this effort of SDNP. The Participants responded that they are now no more a layman regarding Internet and its usage.
