'Access' Training workshop in Quetta for WESS and PIDS

A half day training workshop on the above mentioned topic was conducted on March 2nd, 2001 in Quetta for staff of Water, Environment & Sanitation Society and Participatory Integrated Development Society.  

After a brief introduction about SDNP and IUCN, the workshop was conducted in three training sessions by Ms. Zarin Syed of SDNP, Quetta. The first session was about the basics of Internet, including its origin and evolution, the second session on browsing and searching effectively on the World Wide Web (WWW), including some examples of e-commerce. The final session was devoted to the use of email, including how to get a web-based email account which was practically demonstrated. There was an enthusiastic response from all the participants.
